A Home Lover’s Gift Guide

Happy Thanksgiving week! I love a day dedicated to being thankful. This whole week we’re spending time with family, relaxing, eating and giving thanks. Sounds like a good one, right? Yall, I try to keep the ‘thanks’ in Thanksgiving but one of the things I’m thankful for is Christmas… Eeeeeeek! It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at our house!! I showed you our tree last week and I’m so excited to share the rest of our decor soon.

This is the most wonderful time of the year! I’ve started slowly chipping away at our Christmas list…while stuffing my coffee with marshmallows and wearing fuzzy socks. Living the dream, I tell you. *this post contains affiliate links.

I’m only doing a couple gift guides this year because we try to keep things simple so sharing a bunch of stuff that fills up your home and telling you what you “need” is not my jam.

With these few guides I’m sharing what I know so today’s gift guide is for a home lover. This is someone that would pick staying in over going out 9.9 times out of 10. That’s me (mainly on nights and weekends). Someone who works from home. Someone who changes into pj’s the very second they walk through the door at the end of the day. Someone who loves making their house and welcoming, cozy environment. All of these are me so I know this well.

You can click each image to be taken to it’s website. There are also individual links below.

If you have someone on your list that is hard to buy for, a cute little frame and print is always a good pick.

I chose this print from ETSY. You pay a few dollars to download it and print it yourself. Pop it into a pretty frame. I love this one. And it’s ready to be wrapped. Smaller is always better in this case. It’s easier to find a home and less like you’re trying to hijack their home decor. This would be great as a house warming gift too!

I have this Homebody shirt from Propertee by Chris Loves Julia. It’s so soft and I always get so many compliments on it. It’s a fun shirt to add to someone’s collection.

Slippers because why not? These are cute and girly. I like that they are backless too.

Plants are always a great gift too. An easy one like sansevieria (snake plant, mother-in-laws tongue) cleans the air and is no hassle. If it’s someone without plants tell them they can leave it in it’s original container, forget about it for at least a month, water it a little and forget about it again.

A cutting board is a cute little gift for a kitchen. They can be stacked, used as decor or for actually serving. You could even pair it with things like kitchen towels or cheese and wine. Speaking of wine, here’s a good little gift idea for you too.

Home Body is Joanna Gaines’ new book. It’s beautiful to look at, pretty to decorate with and who doesn’t love all things Joanna?

A mug is also a great little gift. I always love the ones at Anthro. You could include some coffee or hot chocolate mix to make it even sweeter.

The last thing I picked and was a blanket. I don’t think you could ever have too many. They’re an easy way to change up a space, they can be used all over the house and they’re cozy. Did you know that H&M has home decor on their website? It’s pretty and affordable.

That’s it. I hope this gives you a few ideas you might not have had before. Feel free to pin the image below to save or share.

Thanks for reading, friends!
