Hi yall! I recently got to put together an e design board for a friends little girls. They’re moving soon and I know, with my girls, that the excitement over a new room can be a good thing to focus on when there is so much else that feels unknown. Their momma wanted to stay away from the traditional girls room colors and give them something bright and fun. Here’s what I picked for them. This image of Kantha quilts was sent to me and was the whole inspiration for the space.
I love mixing warm and cool colors so I picked a predominantly orange quilt and then balanced it all out with some green and blue bedding and furniture.

I don’t usually like throw pillows in kids rooms because, at least with my girls, those things always end up on the floor. Instead, I like fun pillow cases that show a little personality and make their sleeping pillow a little more special.

You know how much I love downloadable art. I picked some for over their beds. (these were a set. I just picked two) For over the bed, I’d have them printed to at least a 16×20, maybe even a 24×36.
