It’s week 2 of the Primp and Pamper Bathroom Makeover. Remember, I’m joining up with these awesome ladies for a bathroom makeover extravaganza.

If you missed my design board and the ‘before’ pictures make sure you catch up here. Today I wanted to talk about the main elements in the room. The fixtures provided by Build.com and Signature Hardware. This post is sponsored but all words and opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting brands that support House Homemade.

For the bathroom I wanted to utilize the long vanity wall so instead of picking out a double vanity I chose 2 wider, single vanities to better fill the space. These beauties are the Morris 48″ console vanity. I loved the modern lines and the warm wood but Signature Hardware has tons of styles of vanities in all different finishes.

Shipping is included and all 3 pieces (the vanity, counter top and sink) were delivered in one giant box by a truck on a pallet that a sweet man was willing to dolly down our alley, up the driveway and into the garage.

Let me tell you, it was a dream for the girls to have access to such a ginormous box. Thanks, Signature Hardware!

This Morris collection comes in a double vanity or a more narrow single sink vanity in case you have a smaller space. After selecting a vanity style, you can pick from a granite, marble or quartz countertop and then each one of those has a few different color choices. I picked cararra marble.  From there you select a rectangular sink, an oval sink or even one that fits a vessel sink AND the counter top comes pre drilled for plumbing so you can choose between 3 holes and 1.

This is an unstaged work zone but aren’t they beautiful? I had to use this shot with the light halo because that makes them look as dreamy as they are. They’re so sturdy and I love that they have the shelf on the bottom. Exactly everything I wanted.

Next up are the faucets. I chose the Moen Genta single handle faucet in matte black.

Actually, the girls picked this. Build.com has a million to choose from. I knew I wanted matte black and a single handle. I narrowed it down to the styles I liked and then let them pick from there. Life/ design hack: I ALWAYS choose faucets with one handle. They are so
much easier to clean around and allow for that much more usable
surface.

In this house I’ve really tried to marry modern and traditional styles. I love the marble with the sleek lines of the faucet and the thin mirror frame in the background. Man, I’m so jealous of their bathroom. I told them they have to treat it right because it’ll be the nicest room in the house.

Lastly, I picked the Quoizel Landry 2 light vanity light. It’s really great quality and very pretty.

Since I changed from rectangular to arched mirrors (you might have watched that on my instastories) I ‘m not sure these will work anymore. I’m going to try them and if they don’t end up working here I will be using them in a future room because they’re great. Sometimes a design morphs and what you originally planned doesn’t end up being the right answer.

I’m so excited about where the bathroom is headed and I can’t wait to show you more progress updates next week.
