Takeover Makeover : Home Office Reveal

It’s time to share the completed small home office makeover in the February (pretend it’s not March) edition of Takeover Makeover (click here to read more about this series.) This post contains affiliate links.

Last week I worked for two days and with the help of THE best travel agent, we finished this bright and pretty office for my sweet friend Meredith.

Remember what it looked like before?

For the record, it was perfectly fine but it’s so fun for me to add the finishing touches and bring a design board to reality.

Meredith works from home and her job includes some photography. The lighting is amazing in here.

They already had the walls painted Sherwin Williams “Extra White” and
because that part was already done, I had time to create a feature wall will hand-painted dashes and a large scale cork board to fill with inspiration.

You may notice the hardware on the ceiling. I installed a spot where she can hang backgrounds on this wall.

The other side has more space for pics and storage for whatever inventory or props she may need to store.

I gave the doors a fresh coat of paint, Sherwin Williams “Malted Milk” and added some new hardware to update them a little. I also painted an arch over the top. It’s crazy how it makes the ceilings feel taller and adds a great detail to the space.

It came a long way in two days!

Meredith, thank you for letting me invade your space and interrupt you a thousand times. I hope you love your office!
