Happy Thursday people! Because we talked about chalk paint on Tuesday, I thought I’d show you my most recent project. A friend hired me to redo a dresser for her daughters’ new room. She had a vision of it already. White dresser with mint green drawers and crystal knobs. Sounds dreamy if you ask me.
That’s a pretty good start. Its hard to see but the bottom has some trim detail and its overall a good and sturdy wood piece.
I used wood filler. I didn’t need the stainable kind but that’s all my friendly neighborhood store sold. I filled the holes with with my finger and a putty knife and waited a bit–but not too long because I’m very impatient with stuff like that.
That’s all I’ll show you for now. I’ll post the after pictures soon! Have you chalk painted anything?..Since I last asked you? Do you love a pop of color in a room or are you a stained wood super fan? (It’s ok to be both, that’s me 😉)
I love pops of color! I have a dresser almost exactly like this that I've been wanting to do something with so I'm interested to see the end result. 🙂 Love the blog!
Well thanks, unknown! 😉 I'll post the 'after' on Tuesday. Stay tuned!
Ha I saved my name as Sommer Grissom… Weird!
Oh yay! Thanks for reading. Glad it's you!
