I recently finished a master bedroom design and luckily it’s a friend that lives near me so I was able to get some good pictures. I mean, look! *this post contains affiliate links. Here’s what their room looked like before. This house is so pretty. Beautiful flooring, great wall color, good bones.
They had lived here less than a year and did a bunch before they moved in but were ready to feel DONE.
They wanted to switch over the a king sized bed which meant replacing all bedding and wanted my help pulling everything together.
I’ve already shared the design board over on Instagram but here’s what I sent her. (You can click on each item to be taken to it’s website.)
I always tell y’all, you don’t have to replace everything. If you have something that works with my design, then use it! They kept their bench and dresser.
I suggested moving the dresser over to the other wall and replacing it with their floor mirror that they love. The mirror now reflects their pretty bedroom and can be seen from out in the hall. (you can see a sliver of the mirror here. My camera died right before I went to take another….#professional.)
The rug does such a great job adding a pop of color and grounding the room. Resist the urge to buy small rugs. This area rug was a 9×13. It’s beautiful and was a great price. Treat yo self.

The only thing that changed from the design board was the art work. What I originally suggested wasn’t available by the time she went to purchase. The one she got was called “Peachy” from Juniper Print Shop, here.
They did an awesome job. This is why I love e design! Abby did it. She pulled her room together and I helped. You can do it!!
I’d love to help you! There’s more info on e design here. I can do interiors, exteriors, homes, businesses, you name it. If you have a specific question, just ask. Helping and encouraging you is my favorite part of all of this. That’s why I started the blog in the first place! I’m so thankful for this opportunity.
Thanks for reading, friends!
Love that pillow. The link does not appear active tho. Where is it from?
Sorry! She already owned it. I did track down a link though. It's under one of the images in the post now. It's from the citizenry
