I’m so excited to share my very first completed Takeover Makeover (click here to read more about this series.) This makeover was sponsored by Sherwin-Williams. All thoughts and words are my own. When I first saw this half bathroom I was inspired by all the possibilities. The homeowners have such a beautiful house but this space sat in the middle and just needed some love. After two days and lots of hard work, here’s what the space looked like. Keep scrolling to see this half bath makeover.
Remember the before?

Sherwin-Williams paints used:
Extreme Bond Primer (on the cabinet and tile)
Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel (on the cabinets)
Emerald Interior Acrylic Latex (on the walls)
SW Smoky Beige (the cabinet color I originally picked)
SW Perfect Greige (the final cabinet color)
SW Foggy Day (the lower part of the walls)
SW Origami White (upper walls and ceiling)
How to update tile with grout refresh
How to prep and paint tile (this post is about a floor but it could be used for any tiled surface)
How to paint cabinets
How to frame a canvas
Helpful tips for picking paint colors
How to make a DIY ledge (this post was a picture ledge but it’s the same thing. I just mounted the shelf part in the middle of the back piece and didn’t put a lip on the front)
Thanks so much for being here and for cheering me on. It was fun!
A huge thank you to Jessie @teakwood.home and Melissa @melissa_keytotheworldtravel. I could NOT have finished in two days without you.
And another thank you to Sherwin-Williams for sponsoring this first one! It was awesome and SW remains to be my favorite.

Oh my gosh that vanity color is so much better than the original! I had to do a double take. I didn't think it was the same one at first.
