I love offering e design but because I help people all over the country, and it can easily be done on your own timeline, it often means I don’t get to see the ‘after’… especially in real life. Last week, I got to go see a bathroom I designed for sweet clients here locally. Spoiler alert, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! *You’ll find all of the affiliate shopping links at the end of this post.
BEFORE
Let me share the space before so you can fully appreciate the makeover.
Their BATHROOM DESIGN BOARD
They were planning to have their contractor take it down to studs and replace everything. I even helped them pick a new tub! Based on measurements they sent me and the look they wanted, here’s the board I sent back:
AFTER
It looks amazing!!
I’ve been in love with this warm gray and white basket weave tile for such a long time. It feels like a classic that could have always been here.
The space between the vanity and toilet changed a little because the vanity was moved down, so there was a little bit more of a gap to be filled. I found a $20 table on Marketplace the morning I was going to style. A new space should flow with the rest of the house. Just because a room is new, doesn’t mean it can’t do that. This antique table adds a traditional element which is found throughout the house.
I love vanities with legs. Anytime you can extend the sight of the floor, you’re creating the illusion of a larger space. The extra long shower curtain helps the space appear taller too. This isn’t a small bathroom by any stretch but why not make it feel bigger when you have the chance?
The walls are sherwin williams sea salt. It’s a beautiful, muted green gray.
Isn’t it a great transformation?! They’re so happy with the room and that makes me so happy. Scroll below for the rest of the links to shop the room.
